Good to know
There are approx. 1,500 different varieties of dates; every type has different characteristics and their colour ranges from red to black. We can generally provide the “Deglet Nour” variety as standard, which is a semi-dried date with a moisture content of approximately 16-22%.
Utilisation
As a snack, starter, in salad, in bakery goods, energy bars, muesli, sweets, antipasti, jam, chutneys.

Manufacturing
Dates is cultivated in “palm gardens”. The fruits ripen in grapes on the palm tree. They are washed, dried and sorted after harvesting. The dates are pitted, cut and packed.
