Mandarin oranges (citrus reticulata Blanco) belong to the citrus family. The collective "Citrus reticulata blanco” botanical taxon summarises mandarins, satsumas and clementines.

The fruit is peeled, the individual segments are skinned and then preserved in cans. Frozen mandarin orange segments are individually deep frozen without additional sugar (IQF).
