Nameko

The Chinese nameko mushroom (Pholiota nameko), also known as butterscotch mushroom, is a unique mushroom which is cultivated in China by many individual farmers using hardwood substrates in greenhouses.

Nameko mushrooms are exclusively native to Asia and are only cultivated in a few farming companies in Europe. They are only circuitously related to the sheathed woodtuft from European forests.
