Depending on the flavour or taste desired, the sun-ripened fruit of the paprika bush are cut, partly roasted and mixed with aubergines, sugar, spirit vinegar, sunflower oil, salt, hot pepperoni and garlic, simmered and subsequently preserved in cans, tins or jars.
