Peperoni and jalapeños belong to the Capsicum annuum species and are income from  the nightshade family. Both the plant and the fruit are called peperoni/jalapeños, though there are even more  numerous other names for the fruit to designate the hotnessspiciness,  size, and even color. The hotness  spiciness of the various pepper cultivars is determined by the amount of capsaicin, which is primarily found in the seeds and the internal membranes. 


Peperoni and jalapeños originated in Central and South America. Today they are grown around the world, but for the food industry mainly in Southern Europe, South America, Asia, and North Africa.

June to October


Sun-ripened fruits from the peperoni/jalapeños plant are deseeded, cut, and preserved in cans or jars, or are individually quick frozen (IQF). Fresh, raw pepperoni are used in production. 


We offer various cuts such as rings, cubes as well as whole peperoni with and without the stem, deseeded peperoni for stuffing, etc. 


For antipasti, in salads, on pizza, in ready-to-eat meals, in soups, etc.
