IFS-Broker
IFS-BROKER is an internationally recognised food safety standard by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).(Global Food Safety Initiative). It is intended for companies that mainly trade in food. The aim is to ensure that the customer receives a food product that is in accordance with the agreed specifications.

AEO F
AEO is an acronym for approved economic operator. This status is for the security of the supply chain from the manufacturer of a product to the end user. The objective is the creation of a global framework for modern and effective risk management in customs procedures.

Kosher
Kosher food is food which is permissible in accordance with Jewish dietary laws. The laws come from the Torah. These are the five books of Moses. According to these laws, food is divided into kosher and non-kosher food. In our company, the certification required to sell kosher food is carried out by a rabbi.

BSCI (Business Social ComplianceInitiative)
We are part of the Business Social Compliance Initiative, the world's leading corporate initiative to promote socially responsible working conditions in factories and farms. With the help of independent auditors, we work with our business partners in the countries of origin to achieve this.
BEPI (Business Environmental Performance Initiative)
We have joined the Business Environmental Performance Initiative, which aims to help retailers, importers and brands improve the environmental performance of their suppliers. Through the BEPI, we are engaging our business partners who are involved in our global supply chains to help them better manage their impact on the environment.
MSC (Marine Stewardship Council)
The Marine Stewardship Council is a private organisation that has developed an ecolabel for fish from sustainable fisheries. MSC-labelled products are from sustainable fisheries that are committed to the long-term conservation of oceans and fish stocks.

Earth Island Institute, Dolphin Safe
Many years ago we joined the Earth Island Institute's SAFE initiative, which is dedicated to the protection of dolphins, turtles and sharks in tuna fishing. SAFE-certified fisheries must implement by-catch reduction measures. They must also refrain from catching juvenile tuna.

Organic means growing and producing organic food that meets the requirements of the EU Organic Regulation. The legal requirements for organic food are regularly checked by independent inspectors on all organic farms in the supply chain.

V-Label / vegan and vegetarian
The V-Label is a seal of approval for vegan and vegetarian products and services. It was initiated by the European Vegetarian Union (EVU). The EVU is an umbrella organisation for vegetarian and vegan organisations in Europe. It is mainly in the food sector that the label has established itself so far.
Excellent family-friendly
We have been awarded the "Excellent Family-Friendly" seal by the state of Bremen together with Impulsgeber Zukunft e.V.. It recognises the work we've done to balance work and family. Furthermore, we regularly undertake further measures.

Bio / Naturland
Naturland is one of the largest organic farming associations in Germany and in the world. 70,000 farmers in almost 60 countries are working according to Naturland's standards, 4,000 of them in Germany. Naturland's standards cover social issues, for example, and go beyond the requirements of the EU Organic Regulation. Since mid-2020, we have been a partner of Naturland.
EcoVadis sustainability rating
The EcoVadis 2023 rating agency awarded us the silver medal. EcoVadis evaluates the sustainability performance and impact of more than 90,000 companies around the world in four main areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Our answers and evidence to the EcoVadis questionnaire are evaluated by EcoVadis analysts.

SMETA 4-Pillar / Sedex
We are audit compliant to the SMETA 4 pillar standard. SMETA stands for Sedex Member Ethical Trade Audit. The aim of SMETA is to bring transparency to the sustainability of supply chains. The four pillars of labour standards, health and safety, environment and business ethics are checked by the auditor.
